Grace and peace to you in the name of the Risen Christ!
Due to COVID-19 restrictions on large gatherings, this is to inform you that an in-person meeting for Annual Conference 2020 that was to take place in Gillette, Wyoming, will not occur. We will, however, be gathering online to do the essential work of annual conference. I ask that you hold Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20 as we plan our work for those days.
We are currently working with GNTV Media Ministry to ensure that we have all the technological assistance in place to create a meaningful time together. There will be more information available in the days to come, including an updated registration page.
I know these have not been easy days, as we all live into a new reality caused by COVID-19. I ask that you continue to keep our healthcare workers, first responders, grocery store clerks, postal workers, and others who are providing essential services in your prayers. Connect deeply with members of your congregation. Make sure your neighbors are cared for. I am grateful for the many ways you are sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through words and deeds.
God bless you,
Bishop Karen Oliveto
